Ice Lizards are a type of enemy in Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy IV and its sequels. Ice Lizards can absorb any ice-based attacks, but are vulnerable to Fire attacks.

Final Fantasy II

In Final Fantasy II, Ice Lizards are found in a few locations: Mysidian Tower (8F), Jade Passage (B1-B6), and Pandaemonium (1F-9F). Starting with the PlayStation Portable version, Ice Lizards are also found in Arcane Labyrnith. During battle, Ice Lizards can cast the Icestorm spell.

Final Fantasy IV

In Final Fantasy IV, Ice Lizards are encountered in the Tower of Zot and Lunar Ruins. In the Super Nintendo and PlayStation versions, their name is formatted IceLiz. In earlier versions, Ice Lizards have a dark purple body, but starting with the Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection release, their sprite was made light blue to match their color in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Their horns are larger than in Final Fantasy II.
