The Pink Tail is a recurring item in the Final Fantasy franchise. It made its first appearance in Final Fantasy IV. In most of its appearances, Pink Tails are an item dropped by Flan Princesses.
History[edit]
Final Fantasy IV[edit]
In Final Fantasy IV, Pink Tails are an extremely rare item which have a very low chance of being dropped by Flan Princesses, who only appear in the Lunar Subterrane. If the party has a Pink Tail, they can give it to the Tail Collector in exchange for a powerful armor known as the Adamant Armor.
In the Super Nintendo version, the item is named Pink, but in the PlayStation version, its name is formatted PinkTail.
