In the PlayStation Portable release, Red Mousse are also encountered in the Arcane Labyrinth's Mask and Mysidia areas. In battles, a Red Mousse's attacks might inflict poison on their target. Red Mousse are vulnerable to Lightning-elemental attacks.
In the Famicom release, Red Mousse have white eyes. Since the WonderSwan Color remake, their eyes were changed to a light green color, and they have a visible light green tongue.
In the unreleased Nintendo Entertainment System prototype, they are named Jam.
Final Fantasy IV
In Final Fantasy IV, Red Mousse (named Jelly in the Super Nintendo version and Red in the PlayStation version) are only encountered in the Underground Waterway. Unlike their earlier appearances, Red Mousse are instead vulnerable to Fire-elemental attacks.
