Game appearances
Final Fantasy IV
In Final Fantasy IV, Gigantoads are yellow and have blue stripes on their back and two on each leg. They have a blue tongue and a blue diamond-shaped marking on their forehead. They were originally known as CaveToad but have been renamed to Gigantoad since Final Fantasy IV Advance. They are only encountered in the Underground Waterway.
In Final Fantasy IV Advance, Gigantoads' sprite was made less bright, and its shading is different than in earlier versions.
