The Earth Crystal is one of the four elemental crystals that appear in several Final Fantasy games, and it debuts in Final Fantasy. As its name suggests, the Earth Crystal is associated with the power of earth. The Earth Crystal is yellow in nearly all of its appearances.
In the Nintendo Entertainment System and MSX2 versions of Final Fantasy, the four crystals are orbs, and the Earth Crystal is known as the Earth Orb. It first appeared as the Earth Crystal in Final Fantasy III.
