Ships are watercraft vehicles which appear in many Final Fantasy games. A ship makes its first appearance in Final Fantasy.

Artwork of the ship from
Final Fantasy
In Final Fantasy, the Warriors of Light obtain a regular wooden ship from Bikke in Pravoka after they defeat his gang, the Bikkeneers. With the ship, the warriors can travel around on the sea. The ship moves around the water quickly. To return to land, the warriors must dock the ship at a port. The ship cannot sail down rivers, although the warriors can travel down them using a canoe.
If the Warriors of Light are in the ship, the player can press a certain button combination to access a hidden minigame, the 15 Puzzle.
