White Dragons are ice-elemental dragon enemies that appear in Final Fantasy. They are capable of breathing large streams of ice, which can freeze their target, and have Icestorm as their signature move. White Dragons appear in the Cavern of Ice (floor B3), Chaos Shrine in the past (floor 1F) and, starting with Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls, the Lifespring Grotto, specifically in Dark Bahamut's chamber. They are weak to fire and lightning-elemental moves, but are resistant to Poison, Quake, and Petrify. In the original Nintendo Entertainment System version, they are named Frost Dragons[1], formatted in game as Frost D due to character limitations.

Despite their name, White Dragons have a purple body, or light blue in the original Nintendo Entertainment System release.
