Fire Lizards are red, fire-breathing Lizards that appear in Final Fantasy. They are resistant to any fire-based attacks, but are vulnerable to Ice-based attacks. In the original Nintendo Entertainment System version, they are named AGAMA. They are encountered in Mount Gulg (floors B4 and B5) and in the past Chaos Shrine (floor B2). They sometimes use Blaze, a move that damages any warrior in the party.
In the WonderSwan Color and PlayStation versions, Fire Lizards have a dark purple body. This was changed back to red in the Game Boy Advance remake. In the original Nintendo Entertainment System version, Fire Lizards' sprite depicts them as having a purple tongue and eyes. Starting with the WonderSwan Color version, they have yellow eyes, a blue tongue, and a yellow belly.
