Eyewing Moths are enemies who appear in Final Fantasy IV and its sequels. They are purple moths with pink wings, each of which have a large eye-like pattern.

History[edit]

Final Fantasy IV[edit]

In Final Fantasy IV, Eyewing Moths are weak enemies encountered in Mist Cave and in the area surrounding Kaipo. They are weak to Throw attacks. In the Super Nintendo and PlayStation releases, they are named SandMoth, and in Final Fantasy IV Advance, they are named Flying Eyes.
