Wolves are canine enemies that appear throughout the Final Fantasy series. They first appeared in Final Fantasy. Depending on the game, they are depicted as either yellow or orange.

In the original Nintendo Entertainment System version, their name is capitalized WOLF, and their sprite is orange. In the MSX2 version, their sprite is entirely yellow.
