History[edit]
Final Fantasy IV[edit]
In Final Fantasy IV, Alligators, named Gators in the PlayStation version, are only encountered in two subterranean waterway areas, the Ancient Waterway and the Underground Waterway. They attack twice in one turn. Compared to other enemies whom the party encounter early on in their journey, Alligators have a lot of HP, but they are weak to Ice attacks. When defeated, there are several items that Alligators have a possibility of dropping.
In the 3D remake, Alligators only attack once like most other enemies.
