Treants are spooky tree enemies in the Final Fantasy franchise. They first appear in Final Fantasy IV. Treants are usually depicted in the likeness of jack-o'-lanterns, as evidenced from their carved face and orange light inside of them. In their debut appearance, Treants are only encountered in Troia.
In Final Fantasy IV's 3D remake, Treants are one of three enemies in the minigame, Edge's Ninja Blade Glade. Edge earns 300 points each time he hits a Treant.
