Final Fantasy VII Remake is an action RPG video game based on the original Final Fantasy VII. Releasing episodically with the first installment released on April 10, 2020 on PlayStation 4. The game delves deeper into the world with overall more content and fleshing out what was present in the original game. However, this game is not a 1-to-1 remake of the original. Some aspects are intentionally different to keep both new and old fans on their toes, with the storyline eventually becoming only vaguely similar to its source material.
