Hugo Kupka is an antagonist of Final Fantasy XVI. He is the economic advisor of the Dhalmekian Republic and the Dominant of Titan.
History
Background
Hugo is one of the richest men in the land of Valisthea, commanding a personal army, known as Men of the Rock. Dhalmekia will often call on Hugo's power to help in its wars, although Hugo would use Titan for personal gains. At some point he meet Waloder spymaster Benedikta Harman and fell madly in love with her.
Final Fantasy XVI
Kupka is first seen meeting with his Waloder allies on how to deal with the Iron Kingdom's new Dominant during the battle of Battle of Nysa. After their request for reinforcements were denied, Kupka decides to deal with the Ironbloods himself, by transforming into Titan. Before heading to battle, he is greeted by his lover Benedikta Harman.
