This article is about the location in Final Fantasy VII. For the location of the same name from Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales, see Chocobo Farm (Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales).

Chocobo Farm, also known as the Chocobo Ranch,[1] is a farm area in Final Fantasy VII. It is run by Chocobo Bill and his two grandchildren, Choco Billy and Chole, who respectively sell items and writing down the Chocobo Sage's information. As stated by its name, Chocobo Farm is centered around raising Chocobos for racing. Cloud can purchase greens and the Chocobo Lure materia here, both of which are required to capture a Chocobo. Cloud is required to get these items because he needs to capture a Chocobo to safely get across to Mythril Cave.

Chocobo Farm has a pen spanning across most of the farm that contains Chocobos. In the topmost area, from left to right, is a white, wooden house with a brick roof, a gray brick silo, and a stable with a Chocobo painted above the two upper windows.

If Cloud talks to a Chocobo (their words are only understood by him as "wark") , the Chocobos perform a choreographed dance and give him the Choco/Mog Summon Materia.

The Chocobo Farm only has the Vegetable Shop, which is run by Choco Bill's grandson, Choco Billy. At first, he only sells one Chocobo Lure, which Cloud can buy for 2,000 gil. During the Meteor Fall event, Choco Billy also sells some nuts.
