2-Faced is an enemy encountered in Corel Prison in Final Fantasy VII. They are ball-shaped enemies who, as their name states, have two faces. One side has a clown-like face with a sinister smile, and the other side is dark red and has a monstrous face, crooked teeth, and a missing right eye.
During battle, 2-Faced bounce and spin repeatedly, and continue to do so until Cloud or another character defeats it. 2-Faced are invulnerable to earth-based attacks. Once a 2-Faced is defeated, it falls onto the ground and performs either one of two actions, depending on which face it lands on, and vanishes. If 2-Faced lands with its smiling face up, it casts Cure3 on all party members, but if its monster face is up, 2-Faced instead performs a Self-Destruct. In either case, the party do not receive any reward for defeating a 2-Faced, unlike most enemies.
