Dominant
Dominants are humans born as a host to an Eikon in Final Fantasy XVI. They are similar to Summoners from other Final Fantasy games.
Description[edit]
Dominants, like Bearers are victims of the Crystal's Curse which causes their bodies to petrify as they use aether. Dominants have the ability to transform into Eikons. How Dominants are treated vary from country to country. Sanbreque for example revere and respect their Dominant. Others like the Iron Kingdom view them as abominations that they are to be put to death on the spot.
