The Healing Helm, also named the Heal Helmet,[1] is a type of helmet appearing in Final Fantasy. It can be equipped by either Knight or Ninja. There are only two Healing Helms, both of which appear in a treasure chest, in Mirage Tower (1F) and Flying Fortress (1F), respectively. Healing Helms have the same stats as Mythril Helms, but are unique in that they can cast the White Magic spell Heal if used as an item. Healing Helms cannot be bought at stores, but can be sold for 10,000 gil each. In the Nintendo Entertainment System release, because of character space limitations, their name was shortened to Heal.

Healing Helms also appear in Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy as a level 1 helm, but no longer have the same distinct use as they did in Final Fantasy. In both games, the Healing Helm can be bought from the Shop by paying a specific amount of gil and providing certain ingredients. In Dissidia Final Fantasy, 780 gil must be provided, as well as Bronze Helm, Guts Shard, and two Transmogridust. In Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, the price was raised to 3,700 gil, and a Bronze Helm and a Rusted Metal are the only two ingredients needed.
