Tents (Japanese: テント) are an item that appear in some Final Fantasy games, starting with the first Final Fantasy. Characters can use the tent on the overworld to rest, which restores either some or all of their HP and MP, depending on the game. After one use, the tent is discarded.

In Final Fantasy, if the Warriors of Light have a Tent, they can use and rest in it from the overworld to restore a lot of their HP and MP. In early releases, a Tent can also be used to save the game progress.

In the original NES version, the Tent costs 75 gold but restores the least HP out of the resting items. In remakes, this role was taken by the Sleeping Bag, which retains its price in the PlayStation version's Hard Mode. Tents replaced the Cabins from the original NES release.

Tents can be purchased at the Item Shops of Elfheim, Crescent Lake, and Melmond. In the PlayStation version's Hard Mode, Tents cost 250 gil and can be sold for 125 gil, like the Cabins in the NES version. In the PlayStation version's Easy Mode and later remakes, a Tent costs 160 gil and can be sold for 80 gil. The Warriors of Light can also obtain a Tent by defeating a Hill Gigas or Manticore, or in certain treasure chests found at:
