The Drawbridge, generically known as a bridge[1][2][3][4], is a location directly north of Cornelia. It first appears in Final Fantasy. The drawbridge is a large bridge that spans across a river, allowing the Warriors of Light to continue to Pravoka.
At first, the drawbridge is broken, but once the warriors rescue Princess Sarah, the King of Cornelia orders his men to rebuild the bridge. After this, the Warriors of Light must walk up to the Drawbridge. This triggers a cutscene that shows the opening prologue, and its text slowly scrolls from the bottom to the top of the screen. This only occurs once in the game.
