Chocobo is a young chocobo who serves as the main and titular character of the Chocobo series. While his English name is the same as his species, Chocobo has a distinct Japanese name, which is Poulet romanized. Chocobo first appeared in Chokobo no Fushigina Danjon, a Japan-exclusive title serving as the first in the Chocobo series, and his first appearance in an overseas game was Chocobo's Dungeon 2.
