Windurst
The Federation of Windurst (ウィンダス連邦 Windasu Renpō ) is a location in Final Fantasy XI.
History[edit]
In 219 C.E., the young Tarutaru girl Rimilala discovered magic and shared it with the five Tarutaru tribes. She became looked up to as the reincarnation of the Dawn Goddess Altana, being crowned the Star Sibyl of Windurst — but only as a spiritual leader with no political power, as the five tribes were still feuding. With their newly-found power, Windurst subjugated the Yagudo in Mindartia.
In 294 C.E., two major Tarutaru tribes engaged in a war that was stopped by the Star Sibyl Tukuku, with a spell so powerful it drove both sides into a stalemate. Tukuku gathered the leaders of all Tarutaru tribes and urged them to end their conflicts; after three days and three nights of negotiations, the leaders agreed to form the Federation of Windurst.
By 373 C.E., under the leadership of Warlock Warlord Lungo-Nango, Windurst successfully annexed the southern region of Quon occupied by the Elvaan.[1][2]
