Mako Poisoning
Mako Poisoning is a psychological disorder that is caused from too much exposure to Mako in its concentrated form. It is only featured in Final Fantasy VII. Cloud Strife suffered from this disorder when fell into the Lifestream for an extended period of time, during which his identity and personality were subsumed by the millions of souls and their memories coursing through the Lifestream. Though he later washed up near Mideel, Cloud's immersion in the Lifestream had reduced him to a near-catatonic state. Tifa went through the process of restoring Cloud's memory, allowing him to rediscover himself.
