SEIWA[edit]
This is an official on-wiki discussion for any Square Enix Independent Wiki Alliance (SEIWA)-related matters, while we review membership. If you are interested, here's the guidelines we follow. Tacopill (talk) 23:20, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- No objections here! KeybladeSpyMaster (talk) 17:47, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- I don't object to it either. A structure to the website has pretty much formed by this point Results May Vary (talk) 19:20, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Copying information from the Fandom wiki[edit]
Is there a policy anywhere on this? I assume it's allowed as it's so for Wikipedia but slightly discouraged so as to make this wiki not a duplicate of the Fandom wiki but still fit for purpose which necessitates a level of similitude. Lennethinian (talk) 17:01, September 18, 2023 (UTC)
- We try to avoid copying from other wikis to minimize the potential for plagiarism accusations. Pokemon Wikia, as an example, has been caught copying entire articles from Bulbapedia. We don't want to open the door for similar things to happen to us. Tacopill (talk) 02:30, September 20, 2023 (UTC)
- Alright then, thanks. Lennethinian (talk) 05:28, September 20, 2023 (UTC)
Standardized articles for subjects[edit]
I think this would be a great help in making the wiki uniform. Here's what I've come up with: https://finalfantasywiki.com/wiki/User:Lennethinian/sandbox/sample_character_article I've been looking at the Mario Wiki for ideas and will look into other affiliate wikis to see if their format is something that can work for this one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lennethinian (talk • contribs)
