Skills
The black mage focuses on casting offensive spells and inflicting status ailments on enemies. These spells are purchased at magic shops found in villages and cities in the game, and are not learned by leveling up. The levels listed in spell data are actually the ranks that each belongs to, with the black mage needing to level up to reach that rank before a spell can be learned.
