The '''Red Mage''' is one of the members of the [[Warriors of Light]] in ''[[Final Fantasy]]''. He is the most balanced character, as he can learn a handful of both [[Black Magic|Black]] and [[White Magic]] spells and carry several weapons. If the Warriors of Light complete the optional [[Citadel of Trials]], [[Bahamut]] upgrades their class, and Red Mage is upgraded to [[Red Wizard]].

Red Mage has a somewhat consistent appearance throughout the game's reissues; he wears a red cape, a red hat with a feather on the left side, two brown shoes, and his hair is white.
