The main game series is the titular Final Fantasy series, starting with the first game Final Fantasy, and since its release, the franchise has become largely successful. Several spinoffs were made for the franchise, such as the Chocobo series and the Kingdom Hearts series. Final Fantasy characters have made cameos in a few Mario Sports games, the later Super Smash Bros. games, and some Itadaki Street games. Final Fantasy is one of the largest RPG franchises. Spinoffs with the Final Fantasy title include the Final Fantasy Tactics series and the Crystal Chronicles series.
