| |To promote ''Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children'', a series of short stories were written by [[Kazushige Nojima]] and posted on the official Japanese website for the film. The stories take place between the events of ''Final Fantasy VII'' and ''Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children''. The stories were later collected into a single paperback volume. An animated adaptation of one story, "Case of Denzel," was included in all copies of ''Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete'', which released on the same day as the paperback volume.
