The '''''Compilation of Final Fantasy VII''''' is a metaseries stemming from the main ''[[Final Fantasy (series)|Final Fantasy]]'' series. It consists of video games, films, and stories set within the continuity of ''[[Final Fantasy VII]]''. The series' logo depicts the same [[Meteor (Final Fantasy VII)|Meteor]] as the one in the ''Final Fantasy VII'' logo.

The series was conceived by [[Yoshinori Kitase]], the original game's director, and [[Tetsuya Nomura]], the main character designer. Nomura would become the main designer for each entry in the ''Compilation of Final Fantasy VII''. Several of the video game installments are of the action role-playing genre.

''Compilation of Final Fantasy VII'' was first announced in 2003 with the reveal of ''[[Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children]]''. Because the film encountered delays during post-production, the mobile game ''[[Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII]]'' would be the first title released for the compilation. A majority of the installments were released for mobile devices.
