The Two-Headed Dragon is a large, two-headed yellow dragon that appears as a boss in a few Final Fantasy games. Its first appearance is in Final Fantasy III.

History[edit]

Final Fantasy III[edit]

In Final Fantasy III, the Two-Headed Dragon is found in the World of Darkness, as one of the four Dark Crystal guardians. The Two-Headed Dragon is the guardian over the fire crystal.

Final Fantasy remakes[edit]

Starting with the Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls remake, the Two-Headed Dragon is found at floor B5 of Earthgift Shrine with the three other crystal guardians from Final Fantasy III. When defeated, it rewards the Bard's Tunic. Unlike Final Fantasy III, the Two-Headed Dragon does not reward any EXP when defeated. In Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls, its name is spelled 2-Headed Dragon.
