The Snow Crab is a boss in Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. It is fought in the Falls Basin alongside two Desert Hags. Benjamin and Phoebe must defeat the Snow Crab in order to access the Ice Pyramid. The Snow Crab has a light blue body and yellow eyes (light green in its artwork), although its overworld sprite depicts it as gray.
The Snow Crab is vulnerable to Axe attacks. It can use five moves: Giant Blade, Full Nelson, Icy Foam, Tornado, and Stare. After Snow Crab has taken some damage, icy foam starts coming out of its mouth. If critically damaged, the Snow Crab's right pincer goes missing, and its left pincer is damaged. The Snow Crab has 3,000 HP, and it rewards 234 EXP and 6 GP upon defeat.
Later on, a weaker enemy variant, Freezer Crabs, are encountered. They resemble the Snow Crab but have a darker blue body, light green eyes, and a blue overworld sprite.
