Phanquid is a pink squid enemy that appears in Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Benjamin encounters them in both the Ice Pyramid and Doom Castle. There is a notable Phanquid named Squidite, who appears as a boss.
Like Squidite, Phanquid has three different sprites that represent its varying degrees of damage. If slightly damaged, Phanquid loses some of its tentacles. If significantly damaged, Phanquid is depicted as having its head over its face. Phanquid is vulnerable to the Fire attack.
