New game+ is an extra mode typically unlocked after defeating the final boss.l; It starts the game anew but with certain aspects of a previous save file carried over, like level and/or equipment.
Final Fantasy IV (3D Remake)[edit]
This section is a stub. You can help the Final Fantasy Wiki by expanding it.
The 3D remakes of Final Fantasy IV are the first with this feature. After defeating Zeromus, you are presented with the option. This can only selected three times; after the third the option is no longer there.
