The Jolt Tonic is a powerful tonic and a key item in Final Fantasy. It was originally a Herb in the Nintendo Entertainment System version. The Warriors of Light obtain the item from Matoya after they give the Crystal Eye to her. The Jolt Tonic has a one-time use for awakening the Elf Prince, who rewards the Mystic Key to them for doing so.
