Airy is a major antagonist in Bravely Default. She is a Cryst Fairy who joins Agnes Oblige and convinces her to restore the crystals so her master Ouroboros can feed upon the world and eventually become strong enough to reach the Celestial Realm.

Personality[edit]

Airy feigns a personality of kindness but her true nature causes it to come out as Airy in reality is deceitful and cruel, having no qualms with murdering the party in one world and feigning friendship to them in the next. In the battle against her on the airship. In the battle, she mocks Ringabel for being unable to stop her from killing Agnes, Tiz Arrior, and Edea Lee in the previous world, living him distraught.

Story[edit]

Airy is a servant of Ouroboros who feeds her master entire worlds for him to gain power. Ringabel managed to find this out, but either sat and let the party be murdered be Airy (according to her), or was simply unable to do anything to stop her. Either way, he managed to be swept up in Airy's transport to another world, losing his memories of what happened and who he is, and manages to convince the party to let him join them. This may be the source of her antagonism towards him, other than her simply being malicious in actuality.

Throughout the game, she feigns as some kind of emissary for the crystals in order to restore them and to prevent the world from decaying and becoming inhospitable.

False Ending[edit]

If the player ignores Airy's plea to not overload and shatter the crystal, she will fly into a rage, revealing her true form anr attack the party. If she defeats the party, she laments having to do the cycle all over again in another world.
